Grafenegg Music Festival is becoming one of the very important European Classical Music meetings. You find the whole program at the website www.grafenegg.at. Two highlights of this year are:

21st August 2010 (Saturday)
16:30 – Works for percussions
19:15 – Wagner “Rienzi-Overtüre / Dorman “Concerto for percussions” / Dvorak “Symphony n. 9 – From the New World”
City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under Jungstar Andris Nelsons; the Soloist is percussionist Martin Grubinger.

28th August 2010 (Saturday)
16:30 – Schubert-Lieder
19:00 – Dvorak “Mittagshexe” / deFalla “El amor brujo” / Mendelssohn-Bartholdy “Die erste Walpurgisnacht” – Cantata
Dvoraks Symphonic Poem follows deFallas famous Ballett-Suite and the very seldom performed Walpurgisnacht-Kantate; with soloists Vesselina Kasarova and Florian Boesch plays the NÖ-Tonkünstler under Andres Orozco Estrada.
21:15 – Lieder with Vesselina Kasarova (Haydn, Berlioz, Liszt, u.a.)
